The Big Issue

THT (Terence Higgins Trust)

THT was one of the first charities to be set up in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV, and improving the nation's sexual health, ever since.


AWEMA (All Wales Ethnic Minority Association)

AWEMA’s principal objective is to promote equality and diversity for the benefit of the public. We engage young people and help them break down barriers that they face, whilst simultaneously building bridges with young people from different cultural, ethnic and religions backgrounds.


ELIS (Engaging Learners in Swansea)

The Engaging Learners in Swansea service - will continue to help 100 city youngsters from 14 schools stay in education through a range of support services.


Economic Inactivity Project

This project aims to enable people from Black and Ethnic Minority Backgrounds to get back into work through offering help with job search activities, pre-employment training activities and any other training or courses that will lead to employment.


SOVA

SOVA works with Social Services departments, recruiting, training and deploying volunteers to offer support and advice to young people within local communities.


Asylum Justice

Asylum Justice is a charity which provides free legal advice to asylum seekers and refugees. The charity is run entirely by volunteers, including eight lawyers.
